744. Watch-battery replacement
Work replacing a battery of an analogue watch.
The battery is the round one of silver color in the right photo.
Dedicated tools seem availabe, but I used tools on hand only.
It worked very well. The new battery cost 0.5k yen.
743. A fallen leaf
A fallen leaf seen this morning at the usual square.
Green remaining in the leaf looks nice.
742. Sii's acorns
Acorns of sii tree at a square in front my place.
In the initial stage, no acorns can be seen.
Before long, the outer shell splits into 3, and the acorn appears.
The slender shape of the acorn indicates that the tree name is "suda-jii".
While there is an another sii with round shaped acorns.
That tree is tubura-jii which populate in the west of Toukai area.
741. Higan-bana
What stands out now is this flower.
No leaf is seen.
The leaves appear in winter.
Thus, aka "ha-mizu hana-mizu";
can't see leaf, can't see flower.
And, tons of another names abound.
But they all relate to images of something ominous.
Its rhizome has strongly toxic alkaloids.
This must be the reason for those unfortunate bynames.
740. Atusa samusa mo higan made#1
Moon of this morning.
At a square in front of my place.
Crisp sky and cool wind.
Finally, autumn has come.
#1 An old saying here, meaning;
Neither summer heat nor winter cold lasts beyond the equinox week.
